Program Overview

As one expression of EHN’s desire to bless Magna and its people with hope and encouragement, the EHN Volunteer Concierge Program is an opportunity to incorporate volunteerism with community outreach. Committed to providing positive impact and influence for an individual’s whole being – body, soul and spirit – the Volunteer Concierge Program serves as a potential format for EHN to further share its culture of Honor, Family and Excellence with every patient that comes to its clinic.

The Mission of the Volunteer Concierge Program is to provide EHN patients and members of the community an office visit experience where they feel welcomed, encouraged, and offered the opportunity for additional assistance before, during and/or after their visit. An extension of EHN’s internal culture, we Value honoring interactions with patients and the community, sensitive and personalized encouragement, and a central motivation to share hope and courage with Magna residents and its neighbors.

Service Responsibilities

Volunteer Clinic Encouragers will provide key service and assistance, including:

• Physical and/or emotional assistance to clinic patients as needed
• Interact with patients and EHN Staff to help create a welcoming environment where patients, family and friends feel valued and respected
• Being available to both hear a patient’s story as well as offer personal encouragement and help
• Support EHN’s front office staff with patient assistance regarding paperwork, directions or generalized information about the clinic or supporting services
• Being attentive to EHN staff and offering encouragement as needed

Volunteering Details

• Service Location: Exodus Healthcare Network, Magna UT
• Shifts: Variable (Morning, Day or Evening)
• Shift Duration: Generally, 2 hours per week
• Commitment: Variable and TBD
• Training: Preparatory equipping will be required prior to the start of any volunteering service – TBD
• Successful Completion of Service: Certificate of Service Award and Gifts (i.e. local gift cards) and potential publicity in local media outlets (i.e. local newspaper, Chamber of Commerce newsletters, etc.)
